Make a splash and join one of our Adventure Days! Our taster days for 8 to 16 year olds are a great way to dip your toe in and have a go at watersports and outdoor adventure.

Wet and Wild Days

These taster days provide an opportunity to take part in a range of water and land based adventures under expert instruction. Watersports include sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, bell-boating, raft-building. On dry land we do climbing, low-ropes and team challanges etc. Activities will be selected according to weather conditions on the day.

They are held holidays, including half terms, from May until October. Suitable for ages 8-16 years.

These days can also be booked for private parties e.g. stag, hen, school, youth and corporate groups. Although prices may vary.

Requirements: Participants must be confident in water.

 

Multi Activity

Join in as an individual, bring the family or get a group of you together and sample all the activities on offer. Activities you can try include sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, powerboating, climbing, gorge walking or hill walking. Our multi-activity courses are a great way to try many adventure sports.

In addition to scheduled courses we can design tailored activity programmes for groups of six or more.

There's no previous experience needed for any of these courses. The pace and the level of activity will be adjusted to suit all abilities within the group.

Two World Titles For Sleights Man

Paul Wheater of Sleights near Whitby has had a good start in the British Masters heavy athletic season. He competed in the World 56lbs championships at Derby on the 21tst April and won 3 gold and 4 silver medals, the Whitby Gazette reported.
