Johns Cottage is one of a set of five small mews holiday cottages set in a courtyard. You are ideally placed just 3 miles from the historical town of Whitby, coastal areas, together with the beautiful North Yorkshire National Parks. The cottage enjoys panoramic views of the open countryside and sea views in the distance. Dogs are welcome here.

Inside

Johns Cottage has a comfortable lounge wich leads off the well equipped modern kitchen. Downstairs, there is a double bedroom, along with a separate bathroom incorporating bathroom suite with overhead shower and toilet. The Twin bedroom is upstairs. There is full gas central heating and all linen is included.  Johns Cottage is a non smoking cottage. The first dog is free. 2nd/3rd dog is charged at £20.00.  The owner requests tha dogs are not left alone in the cottage.

Whitby/Attractions

Whitby, the beach, ameneties and attractions are a short drive away. Scarborough for High Street Shops is within easy access.

Two World Titles For Sleights Man

Paul Wheater of Sleights near Whitby has had a good start in the British Masters heavy athletic season. He competed in the World 56lbs championships at Derby on the 21tst April and won 3 gold and 4 silver medals, the Whitby Gazette reported.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

New Owners Whitby's Old Whalebones 

The new and permanent owners of Whitby's old whalebones which had been sensationally put on Ebay for auction, are now owned by the team behind the recently opened luxury 5 star hotel Raithwaite Hall,  the Whitby Gazette reported.
