Beautiful cottages and an apartment in an idyllic secluded waterside setting by the banks of the River Esk in Ruswarp, 2 miles from Whitby. Adjacent to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, this really is a heavenly base from which to explore the area with your dog.
The large apartment sleeps 6 people and covers the whole of the top floor of the main house at Chainbridge.The house was formerly a boat house.
Inside
The apartment consists of a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and very large walk in wardrobe, plus cot bedroom. 1 double bedroom, large wardrobes and shower room adjacent, 1 twin bedrrom, 1 large family bathroom with roll top bath. Large sitting room with working open fire, kitchen and dining area with French doors that lead out on to the balcony and terrace, use of the owner's gardens to the side and adjacent to the river. (some of the garden will be fenced off during the time the swans are nesting). The ground floor will continue to be used by the owner's. Dogs are welcome. Charge of £20.00
Outside
Outside is simply stunning. Wildlife and nature is in abundance. You can watch swans gracefully glide by, herons and salmon leaping. You may even catch a glimpse of a kingfisher. Other waterside activities include canoeing. Boats can be hired a stone's throw away.
