Quiet North Yorks Haven

Located in a quiet haven of North Yorkshire, just on the outskirts of Pickering - our 18th Century farmhouse Bed and Breakfast accommodation is set within 32 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, and surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the moors - where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday, go bird watching, or take one of the many pleasant walking or cycling routes, with 800 yards of trout fishing onsite.

When the weather is good enjoy a game of croquet or boules on the lawn or giant Geronimo Jenga in the courtyard. For the athletic amongst you football is available on the field, table tennis or pool in the barn or how about a game of swingball. For the kids a playpark is situated on the back lawn.

Animals

We currently have 4 Dexter cows Tilley , Horace ,Boris and Doris, loads of free-range hens, some ducks, 6 sheep and 3 lambs, 2 goats ,Jane the pig.

The two star rated Scandinavian-style Timber Lodges are ideal for a family holiday with that outdoors feeling that won't break the bank. Sleeping up to 6 these provide versatile accommodation all on one level. Numerous adventurous days out are possible from Pickering which will hopefully tire the kids. In the evening why not sit out on the veranda and enjoy the sunset; if you're lucky you may see the barn owl fly past

• Fully equipped kitchen with a fan oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, microwave oven, washing machine and iron as well as a full range of utensils.
• Open plan lounge / dining area with lcd tv , dvd player and leather sofa.
• 2 bedrooms one double and one with bunk beds(a sofa bed is also available in one lodge  if requested when booking).
• Seperate toilet / washbasin and shower room.
• All bedding, towels & tea towels provided beds made up on arrival (excluding sofa bed).
• Private veranda with table and chairs..
• Close by the lodges there is a large grass play field overlooking the farmhouse , a seperate childrens play area,800 yards of fishing and 32 acres to explore.
• Guaranteed parking next to the lodge.
• All electricity / heating costs included.
• Please note our lodges are all non smoking.
• Well behaved dogs are welcome (however no dangerous breeds thank you).
• Open all year short breaks available.
