Experience Whitby is a Leisure Pleasure & Treasure on line gift shop. Gifts are cherry picked for quality, customer service and after care and sold on Experience Whitby. 

There is a focus on businesses in Whitby & Yorkshire as well as over the UK. We already have some London Companies & a company in France on Experience Whitby as well as quality artisan gifts and gifts from established popular designers.

P.S. My mom has asked me to mention that she has a beautiful ground floor apartment at Whitehall Landing, Emmerdale's location shoot, in Whitby town centre. Sadly, mom's lease won't let her accept lovely dogs like me. But Seal View has spectacular waterside, harbour and Whitby Abbey views, and designated parking right outside the door. Mom thought it would be ideal for larger parties to book in conjunction with dog friendly accommodation by Whitby harbour, if some members don't need dog friendly. Seal View has easy access for everyone, including and external ramp and wide doorways, particularly beneficial for Whitby holidaymakers with disabilities. Dog beach ban begins

Scarborough Borough Council would like to remind dog owners that the seasonal restrictions allowing dogs on the main tourist beaches in the borough commences on Saturday 1 May.

The restrictions, which prohibit dogs from certain stretches of beaches starts this weekend and lasts throughout the summer season until 30 September and applies to the following areas of beach:

• In Filey from Royal Parade to the beach slipway which separates the Coble Landing from the Promenade.
• Scarborough's North Bay, from the northernmost beach slipway at the Sands development (former Corner Cafe) to the beach steps immediately to the south of the beach slipway at Scalby Mills.
• Scarborough's South Bay, from the West Pier to the southernmost flight of steps leading to the beach at the roundabout adjacent to the underground car park.
• Whitby's west beach from the West Pier to the east side of the beach steps, adjacent to the western end of the beach chalets.
• In Sandsend, from the steps below the public conveniences at Sandhills to the slipway at the southern end of Bank Bottom car park.

The above locations are clearly signed as dog ban areas and dog owners are reminded to avoid these areas from 1 May. All other beaches within the borough are available for the exercising of dogs during this period, although of course dog fouling - clean up - requirements apply to these areas.
